A PLANT-BASED PUSSY IS A HEALTHY PUSSY; My Meat To Vegan Transition

When I became pregnant at age 18 I'd already made the switch from eating everything all meats, fast foods, junk foods, processed foods to becoming Vegan (mind, I use this term sparingly due to the egocentric, judgmental, and trendy stigma attached to "Vegan") a year prior. I'd been researching and learning independently about ways to raise my vibration and get more intune with my higher self as my main interest at that time (age 17).

Diet was one of the keys to doing so. The more I learned about how meats blocked organs, the colon and pores, in turn blocking the receptivity of the spirit, I became more turned off and quit all low vibration foods all together. 

In the matter of three month, I went from weighing 215lbs to 190, yes 25lbs, just like that!   I wasn't as body conscious then, so weightloss was a pleasant surprise while I focused on getting my spirit right.

I was on a mission driven by my pain and trauma.. I was running away from suffering while seeking refuge and solace in my own spiritual awakening. Yes it felt hella lonely, friends turned on me, and family was upset of who I was becoming.  I triggered a discomfort in my mother baffled by how much my growth created a distance between us. She refused to learn the person I was becoming instead resenting it while holding on to the person I was shedding.. Intentionally calling me "Petrova"  trini accented, when friends would call the house asking for "Maat" my new name given by my step father.


Changing my diet at the time prepared me for my pregnancy more than I even knew especially when I did my first ever 7 day Green Juice Detox at age 18. It was so transformative for me. I felt light in spirit, light in body,  and my palette was so keen and sensitive to taste. I not only trimmed down fat while on my first detox, my skin was glowing,  no longer craved sugars and I just felt clean from the inside out.

It saved my health and lifted me up.

Many ailments and complications I would have been susceptible to had I been on the same pre-vegan diet were evaded . My plant-based lifestyle served as prevention in providing necessary nutrient rich and cleansing foods while also protecting my body against common ailments from colds, swelling, morning sickness..

Now don’t get me wrong, as a vege lifestylist I was never a big foodie. I am not one who's eyes salivate at the sight of food.

Certainly, prior to my extreme diet changes I had a sweet tooth and enjoyed Chinese chicken wings and curry crab but once I quit, detoxed and implemented strict label reading vegan habits, those cravings subsided...    (to be continued next blog)
